Bowling For Boobies Breast Cancer Charity
Well, it is that time of year again and time for the HORROR STARLETS to fight for a tremendous cause for women! I am Co-Captain of Dread Central's HORROR STARLETS team and will be leading my team to bowl and raise money for the BOWLING FOR BOOBIES BREAST CANCER CHARITY 2011! I understand the economy is far from fabulous, but please know that every dollar helps and your support is greatly appreciated! Please help us fight breast cancer and make a donation. Bowling For Boobies Breast Cancer Charity
Bowling For Boobies is an annual fundraiser for Breast Cancer.
Did you know???... One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. There can be numerous expenses...unpaid medical bills, lost work time, housekeeping and childcare needs while struggling with chemotherapy effects, travel for out-of-town treatments, integrative treatments for side effects, and the cost of fighting and living with cancer.
WHAT IS BOWLING FOR BOOBIES?
A fund-raising event to help provide monetary assistance to local women experiencing financial challenges as the result of fighting and living with breast cancer. Bowling for Boobies begins with a commitment to organize teams of six people who have a fundraising goal of $1000 per person for women who are fighting breast cancer. All of the teams come together to submit their contributions and bowl. Read the testimonials from our grant recipients.
WHY BOWLING FOR BOOBIES?
Because there are numerous necessary expenses facing adults living with cancer. Unpaid medical bills, lost work time, housekeeping and family needs while struggling with chemotherapy effects, travel for out-of-town treatments, integrative treatments for side effects, and the cost of fighting and living with cancer. Even with insurance, too many people have to sell most or all of what they have worked a lifetime for in order to get the treatment needed. Adults experiencing cancer treatment do not need any added emotional stress.
