FEARnet Launches Fear Clinic Horror Mini-Series
Fearnet To Launch Terrifying Mini-Series Uniting Legends Of Horror Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) And Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees) In Fear Clinic. Scream Queen Danielle Harris (Rob Zombie's Halloween) Also Set to Star in Mini-Fearfest Tackling Humanity's Worst Phobias To Debut this October on FEARnet.com And FEARnet Video On Demand Digital Cable Service.
Welcome to your worst fears... FEARnet, the world's premiere horror, thriller and suspense website and on-demand service, will once again unleash terror on horror fans with Fear Clinic, a FEARnet original web series starring horror legend Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger of The Nightmare on Elm Street blockbuster franchise) as the sinister, maniacal genius Dr. Andover. His obsession: to cure humanity's worst fears. His method: the Fear Chamber, a device of his creation that can bring any worst fear to life. With Dr. Andover's extreme methods his unwilling patients will be cured for good...or die trying! To further whet the horror enthusiasts' appetite for blood, acting icons from three of Hollywood's biggest horror movie franchises will appear together. Robert Englund will be joined on screen by fellow genre megastar Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th franchise) as well as Danielle Harris (Rob Zombie's Halloween). The mini-series will premiere on www.FEARnet.com and FEARnet's VOD channel in October as a centerpiece event of its annual Halloween scare-a-bration.
The spine-tingling action of Fear Clinic will unfold over five webisodes. Each episode will spotlight Dr. Andover's eerily extreme methods to help a patient at the clinic conquer their greatest fears: from hydrophobia (fear of water), scotophopia (fear of the dark), and entomophobia (fear of insects), to claustrophobia (fear of small spaces) and misophobia (fear of being contained with germs or dirt). The project is directed by Robert Hall (Laid to Rest) with effects from his company Almost Human (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Quarantine, The Burrowers) from a script by Aaron R. Drane and executive produced by Mark B. Johnson and Jim Burns.

"Devil's Trade," "30 Days of Night: Blood Trails" and its sequel "30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust" starring "Saw" franchise scream queen Shawnee Smith have combined to generate more than 14 million views online and on demand. FEARnet also collaborated with legendary music video director Mary Lambert for a vampire theme series "The Dark Path Chronicles," which merged music and narrative with up and coming bands. Most recently, FEARnet partnered with Whoopi Goldberg to co-produce and star in "Stream" a psychological themed series that marked her return to the genre she adores. Additionally, its six-week daily interactive series "Buried Alive", produced by Sony Picture Television, yielded a large loyal fan base with millions of tune-ins.
Fear Clinic will premiere on www.FEARnet.com and FEARnet VOD destinations and will also be featured on FEARnet branded channels on such web video portals as Fancast, Hulu, You Tube, Crackle, Break, and many more.
