» Wednesday July 28, 2010 - 11:38 am Forrest Jackerman Typo In New Famous Monsters
PHILIP KIM trashes Forrest J Ackerman's name in Re-born issue of Famous Monsters. Did PHILIP KIM, the new Famous Monsters owner, really publish that his "inspiration" was someone named Forrest "JACKERMAN" in the masthead of the new reborn issue of Famous Monsters #251. Yes, ladies and gentleman, the Typo of the Decade Award goes to... FM Publisher Philip Kim.
Not only was the attendance at the Famous Monsters convention in Indiana reportedly "much weaker than expected" (source:FromDuskTillCon), and their lead draw, actor Thomas Jane (Hung) was a no-show, but now Philip Kim is dealing with an embarrassing typo. Could you come up with a worse typo than misspelling the name of your "inspiration?" Jackerman? Really??
Girls and Corpses Magazine's Deaditor-In-Chief, R.S. Rhine, laughed, "Forry Ackerman would be rolling in his grave... er... I meant Jackerman."
