Legend Of Hayswood Hospital Independent Horror Feature
Ohio filmmaker Jeremy Hamm and Kentucky screenwriter / filmmaker Tammy Ruggles collaborate to bring you the low-budget independent horror feature, The Legend Of Hayswood Hospital, based on a ghost story surrounding the allegedly haunted Hayswood Hospital in Maysville, Ky.
Labeled "A horror story with heart," it is a good-against-evil tale to please horror fans of all tastes, from mystery to paranormal investigation to outright gore. Blair Witch meets Ghost.
This is an all-volunteer effort, featuring the talents of actors like David Gray, who was featured as Doc Turner in Coal Miner's Daughter and about a dozen other motion pictures. Sonny Burnette, a local actor who has been in many commercials and short films. Close to one hundred local actors and newcomers are featured as well. The picture has a soundtrack including but not limited to, American Idol contestant Deanna Brown, a song by local music legend Bobby Mackey, and original songs performed by local bands.
Over 120 people have participated in one way or another on this film. It is truly becoming a grass-roots success, so get behind us and become a part of a little movie with big dreams.
On All Hallow's Eve in 1966, a pregnant teenager named Ruth Hill was taken behind Hayswood Hospital for a dark sacrifice.
In 2010, paranormal investigators tried to redeem her soul.
