Sins of the Father Horror DVD Contest Launches
For nearly a decade, Light & dark Productions has spun the continuing tale of horror and suspense surrounding its signature villain, the Black Rose Killer. On December 1st, Brain Damage Films will release Sins of the Father, the final chapter in the Black Rose Killer trilogy.
Sins of the Father concludes the storyline with Peter Jacobs returning to Fairview Falls to uncover the truth behind his family's murder. Every step he takes brings him closer to the Black Rose Killer aka Ethan Fernier. Peter gets more than he bargained for when he discovers that Ethan is dying and his chance to bring him to justice is slipping away.
Sadly, Joe Lauria, the actor who played Ethan Fernier in three Light & dark movies, passed away this past August. A tribute video is currently in the works.
To celebrate the upcoming DVD release, Light & Dark Productions is launching the Sins of the Father Video Contest today which is the first of three social media targeted contests that will continue until November 30th. The Video Contest is a chance for the fans to show off their talent, have some fun and make their own video. It's as simple as watching one of the three video clips from the Black Rose Killer trilogy that have been posted on YouTube. Pick a clip, make your own video and then upload it as a Video Response to the clip it's based on. Fans can go crazy with their interpretation.

3 Ways to Win a Sins of the Father DVD!
Video Contest
(September 8, 2009 - November 30, 2009)
Make your own video based on 1 of 3 clips from the Black Rose Killer trilogy.
3 winners will be selected (1 for each clip) and will receive a DVD copy of Sins of the Father.
Photo Contest
(October 1, 2009 - October 31, 2009)
Halloween comes early! Celebrate by dressing up as the Black Rose Killer.
1 winner will be selected and will receive a DVD copy of Sins of the Father.
Puzzle Contest
((November 1, 2009 - November 30, 2009)
Watch brand new weekly video featurettes, follow the clues and be the first to solve the puzzle.
1 winner will get a DVD copy of Sins of the Father and the Anatomy of Horror limited edition book.
