Vampire Lestat Annual Vampire Ball In New Orleans
Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club's Annual Vampire Ball in New Orleans. Republic New Orleans hosts Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club's Annual Vampire Ball WHAT Republic New Orleans hosts Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club's (ARVLFC) annual Vampire Ball in which this year's theme is the Memnoch Resurrection taking place Friday, October 29, 2010.
The Memnoch Resurrection Ball will also have a silent auction, raffles and souvenirs for purchase where the proceeds will go to benefit Save Our Cemeteries.
"The fan club chose this year's theme in honor of Anne Rice's original Memnoch Ball held at St. Elizabeth's Orphanage 15 years ago and this is our way of resurrecting the grandeur of the original on a much smaller scale," says Sue Quiroz, founder of the ARVLFC.
Entertainment by Saints of Ruin, Damien Youth, Cadillac Creeps and Special Appearance by Slush Pile.
Special Guests include:
- Heather Graham, New York Times bestselling author
- Gabrielle Faust, acclaimed author and vampire/industry expert
- Dacre Stoker & Ian Holt, descendent of Bram Stoker teamed up with Ian Holt to publish the sequel to Dracula entitled Dracula The Un-Dead

Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club (ARVLFC) was formed in 1988 at the Queen of the Damned Book signing by Melanie Scott, Susie Miller, Teresa Simmons and Sue Quiroz.
